Sebastian Schroth was born in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, in 1985. From 2005 he studied electrical engineering and information technology at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, focusing on power electronics, control system and electrical drives. During his Diploma he designed and realized a PMSM for a special control algorithm. Since 2011 he has joined the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory as a Ph.D. student.
