Chaudoire Foundation

The deceased entrepreneur Rudolf Chaudoire (†1991) developed stormproofed drives for mining (further information under http://www.breuer-motoren.de/historie.htm).  He founded the Chaudoire Foundation to support students of Electrical Drive Systems, Power Electronic Systems and Mechatronics of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) which make important contributions to their fields.

In recognition of the long-lasting sponsorship, Mr Karl Linnepe, President of the board of trustees of the Chaudoire Foundation has been appointed as a guest of honour of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in perpetuity.

We would like to take this opportunity to express gratitude for the regular and sizeable donations, which enable student projects, masters programs abroad, guest researchers,  and conference attendance.
